"Solomon had answers for all her questions; nothing was too hard for the king to explain to her. When the queen of Sheba realized how very wise Solomon was, and when she saw the palace he had built, she was overwhelmed."
- 1 Kings 10:3-5

She then went on to praise the king.

She apologized for not believing what she had heard and she talked about how blessed his staff must be just to be in the same room with him everyday.

This is high praise for a wealthy and wise queen herself.

She was so impressed that she gave the king 9,000lbs of gold. In today's money that would be around $204,000,000!!! She also gave him buckets full of spices, and jewels that she had brought.

You have to be pretty impressed with someone to pay them that kind of money.
